How much does Zendesk cost?
Zendesk charges per agent, per month. On annual billing it costs $19 for Support Team, $55 for Suite Team and $115 for Suite Professional. Monthly billing costs $25, $69 and $149. Suite Enterprise is priced by sales. AI agents come with every plan but are billed per automated resolution once a small included allowance runs out. These are the figures on Zendesk’s pricing page on 29 October 2026.
| Plan | Billed annually | Billed monthly | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Support Team | $19 | $25 | Email ticketing, routing, macros, automations and prebuilt reports |
| Suite Team | $55 | $69 | Adds AI agents, a knowledge base, messaging and live chat, telephony and omnichannel routing |
| Suite Professional | $115 | $149 | Adds admin copilot, app builder, AI writing tools, skills-based routing and an IVR phone tree |
| Suite Enterprise + Copilot | Contact sales | Contact sales | Adds intelligent triage, auto assist, approval workflows, a sandbox and custom roles |
For a small team that wants a help center, Suite Team is the starting point: it is the first plan on the page that lists the knowledge base, live chat and AI agents. Support Team is email ticketing on its own.
How Zendesk prices AI
Zendesk bills AI agents by the automated resolution: a customer request the AI resolved without handing it to a person. Each plan includes a few, and you pay for the rest either up front (committed) or as you go.
| Item | Price |
|---|---|
| Included automated resolutions | 5 per agent a month, up to 10,000 a year |
| Committed automated resolutions | $1.50 each |
| Pay-as-you-go automated resolutions | $2.00 each |
| Copilot add-on (auto assist, intelligent triage) | $50 per agent a month, billed annually |
| Copilot writing tools and ticket summaries without the add-on | 5 uses per agent a month, pooled across the team, capped at 500 |
The included allowance is small for a small team. Three agents get 15 automated resolutions a month, so most AI use is billed. Copilot is a separate add-on for agents rather than customers: it suggests replies and actions that an agent approves before they are sent.
What 3, 10 and 25 agents pay
The table below assumes Suite Team on annual billing and 300 automated resolutions a month, which is a team where AI resolves about ten customer requests a day. Your volume will differ, so swap in your own number.
| Team | Seats | AI past the included allowance | Total, pay-as-you-go | Total, committed at $1.50 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3 agents | $165 | 285 × $2.00 = $570 | $735 | $593 |
| 10 agents | $550 | 250 × $2.00 = $500 | $1,050 | $925 |
| 25 agents | $1,375 | 175 × $2.00 = $350 | $1,725 | $1,638 |
Two things stand out. At three agents, the AI costs more than the seats. And adding Copilot for every agent adds $50 per agent: $150 a month for three, $1,250 for twenty-five.
| Team size (agents) | Zendesk Suite Team monthly cost | Supahelp monthly cost |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | $55 | $64 |
| 3 | $165 | $64 |
| 10 | $550 | $64 |
| 25 | $1,375 | $64 |
How to pay less for Zendesk
- Pay annually. It saves 20% to 24% depending on the plan.
- Commit to a resolution volume. Committed resolutions cost $1.50 instead of $2.00, if your volume is steady enough to predict.
- Apply to Zendesk for Startups. Early-stage startups can get a six-month trial of the Suite for up to 50 agents.
- Fix your help center first. An AI agent that can’t find an answer hands the request to a person. You pay for the seat either way, and better articles raise the share the AI resolves.
Is Zendesk worth it?
- Zendesk is worth it if you need phone, live chat, email and social in one queue, with routing and reporting for a large or growing team.
- Look elsewhere if you are a team of a few people whose support is mostly repeat questions. The seats and per-resolution fees add up quickly at that size.
